October 6/7, 2025 - Contractor Working on CR 418

A contractor working on behalf of the City of Oxford will begin work lining a section of sewer main near 54 CR 418 at 9 am, Monday morning, October 6, 2025. Beginning around 9:00 AM, trucks and cranes will stage on CR 418 to unload the liner. This work is expected to take a couple of hours. During this time, City of Oxford crews will be directing traffic traveling on CR 418 to detour through the Franklin Farms subdivision. Work will resume at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, 10/7, with the west-bound lane of CR 418 being closed for much of the day and potential periodic closures of both lanes. City of Oxford crews will be responsible for traffic control again on Tuesday.
