Oxford Skate Park

Essentials: Oxford Skate Park is located across from the Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library at the old Dizzie Dean ball field on Bramlett Blvd . Our park is open seven days a week, 365 days a year. The park hours are from sunrise until 11:00pm.  No BMX bikes allowed in the park bowl areas.

Design sk8t1of the new Oxford Skate Park was completed in September 2006 after a year of construction. Grindline, a design-build company from California that specializes in skate parks, built the new Oxford Skate Park with a total contract amount of $300,000. Grindline  works hard to make each park better than the previous park they built, and the success of the park is testament to this ethic. The Oxford Skate Park was built with a combination of support from private donations, grants, and the people of the City of Oxford.

The park features a 7-9 ft. bowl that is approx. 4,000 sq. ft. and a street course that is about 6,000 sq. ft.
A children's playground area is also located at the park.

The Oxford Park Commission recommends the use of helmets and pads for all skaters.
