Reminder from Building Department:
- Section 34- 22 (c) (2) of the City Code states: "Parking lots with over 100 spaces must be in compliance with section 34-27 (Vehicular use interior requirements) when they are resurfaced, but no later than the end of 2012".
- All nonconforming signs including outdoor advertising signs shall be removed or brought into compliance within seven (7) years of the adoption of this ordinance (November 15, 2004).
Building inspections and code enforcement are handled by the Department of Building and Development. City laws pertaining to code enforcement including: zoning, signs, abandoned vehicles, landscaping, weed and trash control, and construction inspections are enforced through this office.
