Things you can do right now, at little or no cost:

1. Switch to compact fluorescent when replacing bulbs.
2. Set your thermostat to 68F in winter and 78F in summer.
3. Sign up for recycling.
4. Check faucets & toilets for leaks.
5. Turn off computers, printers, etc. when not in use.
6. Use Energy Star rated appliances when replacing older models.
7. Shop at the Farmer's Market for locally grown foods.
8. Bike to work or school, or use public transit.
9. Learn more about being green from our links.
10. Share your knowledge with others about making Oxford green
