| Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library Dorothy Fitts, Head Librarian Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library: 234-5751 The Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library, a member First Regional Library System, serves the residents of Oxford and the surrounding areas with its large book, periodical, video, DVD, and books on tape collection. The library also conducts many programs for adults and children. The Oxford-Lafayette County Public Library has consistently had one of the highest circulation rates in the state of Mississippi, and the First Regional system has the highest ranked circulation of all library systems in the state.
