Ward 6 Election

Absentee ballots available Monday, January 30

The election for alderman of Ward 6 will be held Tuesday, February 14th at the Oxford Activity Center from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for registered voters of Ward 6.
The following candidates have qualified for election:

Jason Bailey
Liz Barrett
Katie Morrison

All candidates will run as independents.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Saturday, April 21, 2012

Free collection and disposal of hazardous household materials to all residents in Lee, Pontotoc, Itawamba, Monroe, Calhoun, Lafayette, and Union Counties.

OUT Purple Route Saturday Service

Starts January 28, 2012

Oxford-University Transit will run a Saturday-only service along the Purple Route starting January 28, 2012. The Purple Route runs from The Connection Apartments, through campus, down Jackson Avenue to Wal-Mart and back.
